Buddy Hotel

Convenience to rail and bus tours (Karlsplatz station is right outside the door). Contactless system and small/efficiency rooms and space. Clean and comfortable otherwise with no bells and whistles. Love the breakfast breads and coffee offered up for free. Snack and drink vending machines include beer and wine. Coffee pod machine in room for coffee/tea. Close to good eats and 15 minutes to old town. Good walk. Easy check in and out, that you can do online.

Cheapest room very small. Hard to move around with 2 people. Unsure about other rooms. Never saw a staff member at desk, only cleaning crew.

The position of the hotel

Nobody to communicate. The card access is always not working . You cannot leave with your car if you do not ask the neighbors....

Company bug well thought out. Comfortable bed

Room was clean, no reception and just a key machine so easy to check in and out. Less than 5 mins walk into the centre. While the room was small, the bed was extremely firm which we liked

Given how close it was to the centre, there was considerable amounts of noise in the streets surrounding to the point we couldn’t open the window. Not opening the window would’ve been fine if the air on worked properly and didn’t turn off every 10 mins despite leaving a key card in or setting properly. We woke up many many times in the night as it was so warm and stuff, in tandem with very loud outside. As the rooms are in a shared apartment building block, be prepared for random noises throughout the night . Also, there’s no storage at all in the rooms for suitcases (maybe 1 under the bed at most) so not the kind of hotel for more than a couple of nights with a backpack
