OYO Hostel Myeongdong 1

The location is amazing, close to Myeongdong station and surrounded by shops and the food stalls. The airport bus stop is also close by which was great when leaving. The staff is also very friendly and was helpful when we had queries.

The bathroom is small and due to that the shower head makes everything wet in the bathroom. Also, the walls are very thin, I could hear my neighbours talking, watching tv, plugging and unplugging things in the wall etc.

Everything about my stay exceeded expectations. The room was exceptionally clean—you could smell it upon first entering the room. More than anything, I’m grateful for the people manning the desk who helped me from the jump. When I was let off by the taxi driver in the wrong area and given bad directions, I was able to call the hostel and received help when I was lost. I was also helped by another staff member when I needed directions and help with getting a taxi. The staff members are the rock stars of OYO Hostel Myeongdong 1!

What was offered for breakfast was a bit “lean” compared to another hostel I had used in the past.

Close to the center.

Open shower connected to the sink, when you shower everything gets wet, including the toilet. Some construction work at night. Thin walls, you can hear everything.
