Laguna - Vilamoura

We enjoyed our stay, but the townhouse would benefit from some updating We were informed about ants but there were too many.

All 3 bedrooms were clean and every room included an en-suite, it was very spacious and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Staff were great and everything was easy from the moment we checked in until the moment we left!

Only downside and it’s not a negative but the pool was small and on the colder side.

Clean and roomy

Very large apartment with huge lounge and dining area, however bedroom was unusually small, only three small drawers storage and with the wardrobe doors open,no space to get past the bed. Strange design given how large the rest of the apartment was. Bathroom adequate but no separate shower, only bath with shower, again strange at this price would expect better. Nice to have soap and shampoo. The room was ground floor overlooking the restaurant, no view or privacy as people always walking past. Worst apartment in the complex. For this.reason will not stay again as it was advertised with a pool view. And felt claustrophobic although the balcony area was big… just nothing to look at.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with two large balconies offering a great view over the golf resort. The pool area was also really nice and a great place to relax.

There were hundreds (no exaggeration) of ants in the apartment. There was a notice acknowledging the issue, but I think the property should be taking steps to properly treat it rather than simply notifying guests. I’m also not really sure what makes this a four-star hotel. The food was fine, but nothing particularly special for a four-star property. The cocktail quality was also inconsistent — there were two bartenders, one of whom made great cocktails, while the other clearly wasn’t as confident with them. Overall, the property was nice and spacious, but I think some aspects could be improved to make it feel more deserving of a four-star rating. Also limited amount of sockets in the apartment and staff overall were not that friendly.
