The staff were so friendly. They had a lot of amenities. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Walking into the hotel feels like I booked a luxury hotel. Hotel is a few minute walk from Kyoto Station and Lawson store is right next door. Thank you to all the staff for making my Kyoto stay amazing!
The only issue is how far the hotel is from all the hotspots. But the price couldn’t be beat vs staying at a hotel in Gion for example. Was able to get to my destinations very fast via Kyoto Station.

Rooms were small . No space to keep big suitcases . So travel light .

Staff was courteous and had hospitality.
Amenity goods were near the front desk, which I felt inconvenient.

Close to the train station. Lovely, accommodating staff.
There was dust on the walls close to the ceiling, probably from ventilation. I called the reception to explain the problem, they came to clean again the following morning but unfortunately they didn’t remove the dust so I had to do it myself.
Also the bathroom had a funky smell and looked like airplane toilets. No sockets for usb cables.
