The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We felt like part of the family. Zacharias gave us such insightful information about Ikaria, its history and interesting places to visit. His suggestions regarding local taverns exceeded our expectations, and his directions were spot on! There is so much to see and do in Ikaria, we will definitely visit again and look forward to staying at the Ikaros Star Hotel! We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay somewhere serene with a beautiful sea view, sleeping to the sound of waves, waking to the sound of birds, and surrounded by friendly interesting people. Great and helpful stuff. Great location with really nice view. Walkable distance to the village.

Breakfast was just basic.
The location was not as advertised.It was not near beaches. The hotel was along way from anything.There was no bus service taxi service was very limited .If you did not rent a car the only way was to walk . The roads or tracks were very hilly and uneven.We were very disappointed as we had been looking forward to seeing Ikaria.
