Apollon Hotel

Our stay here was amazing, our suite was very spacious and was left spotless every day! The whole hotel is pristine in general. There was a wide range of foods with snacks available poolside, all delicious! Staff here are incredibly friendly and professional, with special mention to Poppy at reception, who helped us out of a tricky situation in which we booked one less night than intended, and without any trouble, helped us arrange for an extra night's stay at the hotel without having to change rooms. Cleaning staff also left our towels in very sweet arrangements like the one shown in the picture! The location is ideal, with Kos Town harbour being around a 25-minute walking distance and taxis costing around €8. Overall amazing experience here - easily one of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in for all-inclusive!!

Only thing I would suggest is having an iron for guests to use!

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful, with a special mention to the reception team, who were always happy to assist whenever we needed anything. We would also like to give a special mention to the cleaning team, who did a fantastic job of keeping our room fresh and tidy throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the creative towel animals left for us each day — it was such a lovely little touch and really added to our experience. The food was a real highlight, with an excellent choice and plenty of variety available throughout our stay. There was something to suit everyone, and the quality was consistently very good. We also thought the location was ideal. The hotel was in a lovely, peaceful area, which made it easy to relax, while still being within around a 20-minute walk of the beach bars, restaurants and town. For us, it offered a great balance between having a quiet place to stay and being close enough to enjoy the surrounding area

One area that could be improved is the drinks service. While the all-inclusive package offers a good variety of drinks, bottled or readily available drinking water would be a welcome addition. On some occasions, the drinks were also quite strong, as the bar staff sometimes poured more alcohol than necessary, which affected the overall taste. There were also times when drinks were served in warm glasses, which was less enjoyable. The provision of plastic cups around the pool is a good idea and works well for safety. However, paper cups were also used, and some had a coating on the outside that appeared to soften or melt onto your hands when they became wet. It would be helpful if guests were offered plastic cups as the default option around the pool. Finally, the amount of paper cups being used and discarded seemed quite high. Reducing their use where possible would be a positive step both from a practical and environmental perspective

Not much around it

Property was lovely, it was clean and modern. Really beautiful hotel.

The food was very average, the breakfast which you would think would be quite easy to make right was not. There was no fresh juices of any description, the water was all warm and flavoured (such as cucumber water) and there was no access to fresh bottled water unless you paid over the pool bar. The breakfast was just awful, not much selection, dirty sauce jars that were being re dipped into different condiments and lack of fruit selection. The hot food was also just MEH.
