Great location; delicious breakfasts, room with a great view and a lovely balcony. Friendly helpful staff- they helped me with photocopying and even with two screws to repair my sandals; they got me another airport taxi when I discovered I had booked mine to take me to the airport the following Sunday by mistake; they let me sit around all day on my laptop when I had to vacate my room at noon but my flight home was not till 12 hours later; they advised me on good takeaways... They could not have been more helpful.

There was confusion when I arrived; I said I had already paid on Booking.com, they declared they I had not, that my Booking.com arrangement was advisory only... I finally found the evidence by presenting them with screengrabs from my bank statement.

The easiest thing in the world is to "smile" a little. A couple of unprofessional desk guys were unbelievably rude; none of them showed a tiny bit of politeness or courtesy. Guests come from all around the world, a lot of them come without any knowledge about the city, and we were a couple of those kinds. Every time I went to ask a question about the city, they seemed very disturbed and barely answered, so we missed the number one attraction. On the check-in night, the night guard checked us in, as it was a really late check-in, and the lady who checked us out was excellent.
