The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Love the onsen bath within the large bedroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the free shuttle from Sapporo train station to the hotel. Would book again.

One day of bad weather.

The hotel is modern and clean. The onsen is well-maintained and looks out to the forest. The onsite parking is plentiful and convenient. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the restaurant.

The onsite store carries little food and the nearest convenience store is about 10-15 minutes away by walking. The first day's breakfast is sparse; the second day's breakfast is ample. The first day's breakfast should be like the second day's breakfast. The coffee machine in the restaurant is subpar. The coffee is levels below the coffee at convenience stores. The staff at the front desk were okay but below the standard for high quality hotels. For example, in checking out, the man at the front desk did not say good morning or ask about my stay. At the end, he said thank you while shuffling some papers (no eye contact) - it seemed very insincere.

Beautiful nature around and the hotel itself is so nice and relaxing, we found it hard to leave. The in room onsen was amazing.

The breakfast is traditional Japanese, so it was hard for us as foreigners to find something we’d want to eat, but it’s a matter of what one’s used to and not necessarily a negative if you like to eat like locals (we have small kids, so for us it was a bit harder).
