Great location near train and bus station, very convenient if you're at the end or start of Shimanami Kaido. Great staff and communication!
I've slept at different hostels/guesthouses during my Japan trip and have to say the bed was not the most comfortable, the mattress felt too hard, especially after finishing the bike ride. Which is really a shame to say as everything else was great! I had the top of a bunk bed. Didn't sleep that well.

Accueil super, la cuisine commune est très bien adaptée, tout est propre. Le petit magasin de souvenirs est bien fournis en objets artisanaux et locaux. Machines à laver efficaces et dans un lieu bien approprié.

The ambient of the place. Also that it is near of the train station
The capsule-space is not very confortable: small and noisy, because it is only a curtain which separates the space. And this option is not cheap. Fortunatelly there are other options.

Wonderful staff. Excellent design and location, proximate to train station and many restaurants. A diverse and interesting group of travelers who had common space to gather in and share stories. Very welcoming atmosphere.
The one problem I had was with two guests who showed no respect for the rules and purpose of the house. One returned from dinner blind drunk and passed out, snoring loudly. The other left his light on all night. As a walking pilgrim a good stay is measured by how you sleep, and my sleep wasn’t the best. This is not the fault of the proprietors, but the bunks are not like railroad sleeping bunks and can’t block light or sound.
