Loved staying at the Queen’s Cottage! We had plenty of room, and it was well supplied with dishes, glasses, flatware, and kitchen ware. It was a short walk to town and to the castle. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a three night stay at the Queens cottage and already I am wanting to return. To reach the Queens cottage, if travelling by train from London, the nearest train station is Cheltenham Spa. You can either get a taxi (around 25 minutes) to the cottage, or to Cheltenham Race Course (around 10 minutes) and board a steam or diesel train to Winchcombe and walk around 25 minutes to the cottage. There is a taxi rank outside Cheltenham Spa train station so no need to book in advance, although to return to the station, I did book a taxi beforehand. Walking to the cottage you pass two supermarkets so you can stock up on provisions. There is already a pint of milk in the fridge at the cottage and a small number of tea bags and satchets of coffee. There is a downstairs bathroom and also one upstairs. The lower floor is open plan, and includes a nice kitchen, table, and settee and television. Upstairs you have one double bed, and a second bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has an excellent shower and toiletries are provided. The cottage was clean, and in a great location for exploring. There are plenty of places to eat and everything is a short walk away. The area feels safe and is very pretty. I am very happy with booking the Queens cottage and had a great time.

We used Queen Cottage as a base to attend a wedding and WOW it helped to make a special occasion even more memorable. It accommodated 6 of us so distant family could join us and enjoy the event too. It is in a secluded court but fairly close to Winchcombe with its lovely food places. You enter a very large lounge/kitchen which is amazingly so well equipped with supplies for all of us. Two upstairs bedrooms with very comfortable beds and the bed/settee in the lounge gave everyone a good night's sleep. The car park is 25 yards away through a beautiful arched driveway. We are so glad that this was recommended to us and it is part of a wonderful weekend

The house was in a great location and all the items you need for a comfortable stay were provided. It was warm with enough space to feel relaxed and not on top of each other. Very clean and the kitchen well presented with all you need for your stay.
