The hotel is conveniently located within a reasonable walking distance of Ueno Station, making it easily accessible. It is also just a short walk from Ueno Market, where you can explore a variety of shops and eateries. Another great convenience is the 24-hour 7-Eleven located right next to the hotel, making it easy to grab snacks, drinks, or other essentials at any time of the day or night.
The hotel lobby is located on the 20th floor, which can be a little inconvenient due to the waiting time for the lifts. During busy periods, especially when there are many guests waiting, it can take quite some time for a lift to arrive. If the lift is already full, you may have to wait for the next one, which can be frustrating, particularly when you're in a hurry.

The view from the room was absolutely excellent, with a large desk that gave a great spot to sit and watch the world along with a good amount of space to store things. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable.
The hallway floor was a suspended surface which meant it was very easy to accidentally stomp when walking along the corridor, which I occasionally heard. As there are only two lifts, occasionally there was a bit of a wait to go to or from my room depending on timing.
