DK's Backpacker Hotel

Classic older hotel with so much potential. Since I was staying for a week, and had asked for a quiet room with strong WiFi so that I could work, I was shown several rooms and given my choice. If possible, you should also request to see available rooms because they all are slightly different with what they do or do not include. For the most part, rooms were comfortable and WiFi sufficient for what I needed. Hugo, the daytime desk clerk, was an absolute gem taking such good care of me and Long, the night time manager, kept the best vibes going with his music at the nightly happy hour. Daily breakfasts were ok, with any and everything needed in Hoi An just a short walk away.

As an older hotel, it needs A LOT of work which they're busy doing. During my stay, they were replacing the flooring in all rooms...which necessitated me moving/being in three different rooms. Rooms/Bathrooms are not as bright and fresh as appearing on Booking. And they are very aware of the outdated photo showing a mounted TV in a room (there are none) and that the pool water is stagnant and unusable. The pretentious will find plenty to complain about, but I'd stay here again anytime back in Hoi An.

Excellent value for money. Great location and free beers happy hours are excellent too. Room was spacious with open views on the outside.

Not a big deal but housekeeping didn’t make up my room during my 5 nights stay even tho requested with the sign on the door (maybe they didn’t notice). Breakfast could be improved.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was good and spacious and price was amazing. Location was very handy only a 5-10 min walk to the old town. Breakfast was also nice and handy in the mornings.

Bien situé, à 10 min de la vieille ville. Le personnel de l’accueil est bien.

La chambre à une fenêtre qui donne sur un mur. Peu de lumière et un peu humide. Petit déjeuner passable, impossible de se resservir ou alors il faut payer dommage. Indique que l’hôtel loue des scotter à 150000 dôngs la journée, finalement nous sommes envoyés dans un commerce à côté, et nous avions dû payer 200000 dôngs….
