Domaine d'Auriac - Relais & Châteaux

We had a fantastic stay at the Domaine. The service was excellent. They looked after us so well. Very attentive and very personal, like we were staying in someone's house. We especially loved the breakfast which was of the highest level and served with such care and attention by the gentleman running the breakfast room. Everyone working there was so sweet and professional. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms brand new and super comfy and elegantly restored. And it is only 7 minutes drive away from the medieval city of Carcassonne. All in all we had a fantastic two days staying there and highly recommend it as a place to stay while visiting Carcassonne. Thank you very much to everyone at the hotel!

Absolutely nothing!

Charming hotel, we loved our stay, great customer service, and dinner at the restaurant was very good! Highly recommended! Perhaps my only observation would be to modernice the pool area , the pool is lovely but the terrace could be a lot nicer! Thank you Maria Coats

The charming building, and room.

Tout était parfait. Le domaine est très agréable pour se détendre et passer un bon moment à Carcassonne. Il y a à la fois le confort d'une chambre moderne, avec le charme d'une bâtisse historique.

Excellent breakfast on the patio. Good selection of tasty food

We booked this hotel specifically for the restaurant and were told on arrival that it was closed for a private party. Apparently they sent an email, but this was to a work email and I was on vacation, so did not see it. We got pushed off to the bistro. This was noisy, good staff, quite attentive. Starter was OK. We both had steak, which was like shoe leather or old donkey. we skipped dessert. This was a €500 for one night. In my world, that needs to be a special treat that is memorable for the right reasons.
