Remont Oxford Hotel

Good breakfast, help well with food intolerances. Helpful staff. Good location for bus into town. Sufficient parking. Nice area.

Great little hotel. Really good quality towels; excellent hair dryer; nice biscuits and bottled water in the room. Mahi on reception was fantastic- he ran the hotel brilliantly, was so helpful and had very high standards- eg cleaning not just the tables when people had finished breakfast but also the chairs. Breakfast was excellent- nice crispy bacon, well cooked sausages and some real attention to detail from the breakfast chef- eg seasoned tomatoes cooked perfectly. I watched him come out and check that things still looked nice on the breakfast buffet. I’ve had a lot of hotel breakfasts traveling for work and this was up there with the best. A great little hotel and a credit to the staff.

I was a bit warm in the night- but there was a fan in the room

Location

Height of the bathtub to have a shower. It was a little hard to step out.

Hotel was easy to find and get to, the breakfast was good and had different options. The bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size and had a good choice of in room tea and coffee.

The room interiors need some TLC and updating, as the window need cleaning on the outside, windowsills outside need some redoing, and a couple of window seal needs replacing. Bathroom needs a bit of fixing with a few cracked tiles, some new grouting and sealant replaced around where the shower glass attaches.
