Cityhotel Ratheiser

I loved absolutely everything about this place, they really take amazing care of you here. I was fortunate to stay in the Salon Maria Anna and WOW!! It is hard to describe what a wonderful experience it was. As I am writing this I realized I don’t generally describe a hotel as an ‘experience’ but this one was! When Bridgette kindly showed me to my room, she opened the door and I was in awe. Then she went into the bathroom and there was another door from the bathroom to the dining area and kitchenette!! I felt like royalty. Breakfast was perfect, it included a perfectly made soft boiled egg. I can’t wait to go back and stay longer, I absolutely loved my time here. The location is perfect, right close to the centre. Buses are only steps away. Oh! The owner is very thoughtful, I mentioned I had no more pods in my room that’s why I was using the nespresso downstairs and she made sure to restock me. Bridgette had loads of good recommendations on things to see and do. I felt very valued and I didn’t want to leave.

A wonderful hotel with a truly unique atmosphere. It felt like more than just a hotel—it was like staying inside a museum, full of beauty and character. The staff were very, very nice, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

I would say the breakfast could be better. On some days, the selection was limited, with mainly pork salami available. Also, croissants were not available every day—some days they were there, and some days they were not. More variety would make the breakfast better.

Hostess is so lovely. Room was cleaned every day.
