Lanthia Resort

Beautiful piece of architecture that respects its context with very well considered design details. For example, the pool layout sit in between two trees, which give a little shade; the privacy of each room is also well considered too; while the beach access is clever. Lovely staff, who clearly enjoy working there. While it is clearly a high class hostillery, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The beds were excellent and rooms were very clean. This is not a cheap resort, but I still feel we had a good value for money. We arrived late at night and the staff had prepared a lovely salad for us and were very kind after a very long journey to get there. Overall, the food was excellent. The beach is stunning, as well as exclusive, again without pretence.

Althogh well died, the room lacked luggage storage once we had unpacked. While a piece of furniture, such a lounge chair or chaise longue would have been nice additions as the rooms are a decent size and felt under dressed and lacking in a little comfort. While the pillows weren't great either. I would have welcomed some more basic foods, like a panini, or wider selection of salads.

The whole experience at Lanthia was perfect from the location with private beach area, the swimming pool, bar and restaurant. The staff were super friendly - relaxed but attentive. The room was very nicely furnished, and smelled amazing.

The food on offer in the restaurant for evening meals was limited, but there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

The hotel is really pretty. The site with the gardens, the pool area and the beach are all gorgeous and very well curated. The restaurant is quite good.

The WiFi didn’t work
