Best Western Hotel Wetzlar

Hotel easy to find with satnav and parking is down a ramp just past the hotel - Reception on first floor (also that area is bar and breakfast room). Our room was huge - more like a suite with separate sleeping and sitting area and a huge bathroom - swivel TV so you can watch in sitting or sleeping area. We arrived very early and room was ready which was great. Had a glass of wine on the outdoor veranda when came back from town - lovely area to sit at and could hear the river. Use room card to enter the hotel in the evening (no Reception or bar after c 10). Breakfast was good but chaotic. Very close to cafes / shops and a short across across the old bridge to the old town which is amazing - must have one of the largest concentrations of half-timbered houses anywhere.

Breakfast was very busy and at first we couldn't find seating - were shown to another room but then a table was found in the main area. It was as if everyone came down to breakfast at once - and staff were doing their best to clear tables etc.

The location was ideal being close to bars and restaurants. The access to secure parking is a priority for us as a group.

The check-in process was hideous. Despite me assigning guest names to each room and receiving confirmation from booking, com, the hotel did not have all the correct details.

Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room.

Pas d‘information fourni sur la fermeture provisoire de la piscine naturelle. C’était un critère pour choisir cet hotel.
