Golden View

We have been a few times so must be good and hope to come back again next year

Room size a bit small but you only sleep there. This not really an issue.

Great location, lovely sea, 20 minute walk into town but plenty of cheap taxis to take you back if you don’t want to walk home. Poros town and the climb into old town is wonderful. Hire an e-bike to experience the whole of the island and magnificent views.

Hotel was good, nice rooms, great balcony views but the breakfast could have more variety and quality, the same things every day. The pastries seemed like they were frozen and reheated, not nice. So much fantastic produce in Poros and they could do a lot better. The sun beds on the beach - which were free, unusually, thank you! - were basic and would have been improved by just a small soft covering to make them a bit more comfortable.

Golden View has, in my opinion, one of the best locations on Poros. The hotel offers a beautiful sea view, a very nice private beach, a swimming pool, and an excellent restaurant — the food is so good that you may not even feel like going elsewhere for dinner. The port is within a pleasant walking distance and is perfect for an evening stroll, with plenty of life, restaurants, and atmosphere. Then you return to a completely different environment: peaceful, quiet, cozy, and right by the sea. And if you are tired or simply do not feel like walking back, a taxi from the port to the hotel costs only around €5. It is difficult to find such a good combination on Poros: great location, beautiful views, a private beach, tranquility, and easy access to the port. From the first day, I felt I had made the right choice, and I still felt exactly the same on the last day. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful sea view. Lovely beach. Great place for evening cocktails.

The bus into town doesn't run anymore (not the hotel's fault) but you have to walk (very hot) or get a taxi to town. So we ended up spending a lot of time by the beach at the hotel which was very relaxing.
