Hotel des Orfèvres

Great location. Very friendly staff. Good value .

Would have been nice to have a nice bar area but we went out anyway.

Hotel des Orfèvres will always have a special place in our heart, as our home in Paris for the last few precious days of our honeymoon. The rooms and the hotel in general are beautifully decorated and quintessentially French; our room on the top floor featured a balcony with a beautiful outlook; coffee and fresh water is provided daily which is a nice touch, and the staff, I must say, were fantastic, always warm and accommodating and made us feel at home. The hotel is well situated near a major station and was a fantastic base for exploration of Paris.

The hotel features a beautiful private sauna/hamam on the ground floor, which I thought was a nice touch and an advantage over similar hotels in the area, but at 90€ for a 45 minute session for guests, we weren’t quite convinced of the value. Given the investment guests are already making to stay, particularly in the balcony rooms, the Hotel might consider offering at least one complimentary session with the booking, to enable guests to fully enjoy the beautiful facilities.

Staff very friendly and rooms clean and dec nicely. Breakfast very good.

Room was not cleaned until 4pm the 5 nights we stayed there. Hoping when we came back from our excursions our room would be cleaned by then. The hotel room was beautiful but extremely small. Not much room for our suitcases with little space to walk.

Location location location! 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. Lots of great restaurants right nearby

The room was smaller than just about any hotel room I've ever stayed in in my life (65 years). Although to their credit it was very comfortable for being small. Also we asked for the front desk to get us a taxi at 7:00 a.m. to make a critical international flight. When we showed up at 7:25, the staff at the front desk couldn't care less about calling. We finally had to walk out of the hotel and find our own taxi stand. Kind of frustrating!
