Hôtel Louvre Richelieu

Excellent location and wonderful staff, clean and comfortable and safe. Perfect for a solo trip to Paris. Definitely will be coming back

There’s no lift, it wasn’t a problem for me and the stuff was helpful with the bags, but good to be aware if you have reduced mobility

Hotel is located in very good distance to many of the local attractions (such as Louvre, Opera Garnier etc). There is also reasonable distance to the closest metro stop or RER station. There is also many Korean and Japanese restaurants (you won't get hungry) which gives a lot of options to dine every single day. Room was cleaned so well (my words of appreciations for the cleaning team of the hotel). Receptionist was very helpful and nice, while being fully professional. Thank you for everything! Would I book this hotel again? Definitely! Cost is reasonable and the location is ideal! I'll add only two things for other guests to be aware: there is no lift (for me this wasn't a problem as I was aware of that and used to climb stairs often). Therefore consider to pack yourself into small luggage, as you may carry your bags upstairs. Also you may experience issues with the internet network possibly related to the architectural design of the building where hotel is located (my room was on the 4th floor and still and my own internet network or hotel Wi-Fi did not work well as expected even when I was by the window). But honestly, this did not made my stay worst. I truly enjoyed it. Again: thank you for everything!.

The location and receptionist.

4th floor room without elevator. The door of my room was lose and when the neighbour rooms were getting in or out my door was making noise. My bedroom didn’t look like any of the ones in the pictures.

Amazing location and very walkable to all the main sights, which was definitely the best part of our stay. We stayed in a triple room, which was quite small for three people, but we managed.

The biggest downside was the noise. The street noise was extremely loud until around 2am, and the walls are very thin, so you can hear people in the surrounding rooms and hallway. There was also a very strange smell throughout the hotel lobby and hallways, and we found we needed to keep the window open in our room to get some fresh air.
