Beautiful view of Matterhorn from our patio. Pleasant location at the end of town, right next to the gondola. Great setup in the family room that accommodated the 3 kids and us comfortably and privately with adjoining rooms (and no cramming the kids into the same beds, which is so often the case in hotels). I enjoyed having the beautiful bathtub! The hotel itself is decorated so cute.
The bar/ lounge and restaurant were so quiet at night that it just felt like it wasn't even open. The bar is such a charming space, but there were literally no patrons there.

Great stay at the Berghof. Really lovely location a little way out of the main village but that suited us (only a 10 minute walk). The shuttle service from the station is fantastic. Lovely staff, gorgeous food, and the most INCREDIBLE views of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Good price point for Zermatt too. Would recommend.
Worth mentioning that the path up to the hotel is steep, so maybe not ideal for anyone with mobility issues (although the hotel may have a solution for this). The bathroom was a little dated but that is really being picky. The only thing I would say is that the terrace blankets were a bit dirty.

La qualité du personnel et les espaces spacieux. La terrasse et sa vue sur le Cervin. L'excellence de la cuisine
La lumière dans la chambre est insuffisante pour lire le soir.
