Lovely quiet location with wonderful and friendly service. Good breakfast and excellent meals at their restaurant. Close to mountain hikes, Appenzell town and great activities.

A super cute and small family-owned hotel which was perfectly located to the nearby hikes and scenery. We had the cutest room and exceptional service. We ate dinner on the property and had some of the best Weiner Schnitzel we've ever eaten! 10/10 stay, would absolutely come here again.

Nice breakfast. Owners provided an extra bed at no extra charge for our daughter.
A loud gathering downstairs of drunken old men until midnight. Ruined an otherwise peaceful location and evening.

"Grande gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel. Accueil chaleureux. Nous avons séjourné une semaine avec notre chien. Petits déjeuners copieux et complets, chambre très calme et refaite chaque jour..."
