Black Sheep Medellin

Probably one of the best hostels I could have stayed at in Medellín! Black Sheep Hostel has an amazing atmosphere, while still being really clean and comfortable. We stayed in a private room and absolutely loved it. The kitchen is really well equipped, and there’s a dedicated cleaner who keeps the hostel very clean every day. The reception is staffed 24 hours, and during the busiest times there were even two people working, so there was always someone available. The hostel feels very safe, with a front door where you need to ring the bell to enter and leave. The staff were always super friendly, helpful and welcoming. What I really loved was the social atmosphere and the different communal spaces. There are a couple of lounge areas, terraces and a TV room, so you can choose between sitting somewhere lively and social or finding a quieter spot to relax or work. I thought having that choice was great. There were always people having a drink, making plans for the evening or organizing things for the following day together. A lot of people were even extending their stays at the hostek. It really had that feeling of a little hostel family. You can also buy beers at the hostel for very reasonable prices, which definitely adds to the atmosphere! Overall, an amazing vibe, great staff, very clean, safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Localisation un peu excentrée du Poblado, donc il faut prendre un taxi le soir. Pas de climatisation, seulement un ventilateur plafonnier pas très performant.
