Friendly pub, great beer and good home cooked food

8 / 10Excellent·sept. 2026

The general vibe was very good. The staff and customers (of the pub) are friendly and chatty. We has dinner there on 2 of the 3 days we stayed and it was excellent on both occasions. The beer 'menu' is extensive. The pub is trying hard to be a hub for the local community.

Nothing really. The cabins (of which there are 2) are cute. They are quite small, but were fine for our 3 day stay.

6 / 10Moyenne·juill. 2026

Comfortable beds, a very nice welcome and milk in the fridge. Good location.

Due to a problem it was not possible for us to eat at the pub when we wanted to. This was very unfortunate for the landlords and we sympathise with the problem. We were unable to self -cater easily as there was only a tiny sink. A washing up bowl may have been helpful. However, making tea and coffee was fine and ready meals could be warmed in the microwave but it is not what we generally eat.
