The Capaldi Hotel, Restaurant & Spa

The quality of the facilities and the way they were laid out was excellent. High levels of staffing , with an attitude that nothing was too much effort.

The lighting in our room was poor and the pillows were way too soft!

We had a wonderful stay at Capaldi and would absolutely love to return. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. We were greeted with drinks on arrival, and what really stood out was how attentive the team were without ever being intrusive. They seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. Whether we were sitting by the pool, relaxing at the hotel or settling down for dinner, coffees appeared and everything was taken care of so naturally. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. There was also such a lovely personal touch during dinner, when one of the cats would regularly pop by to say hello before settling down nearby. It added to the relaxed, homely atmosphere and became one of those little memories that made the stay feel special. One of the highlights of our stay was the walk through the surrounding villages with Latifa. Her local knowledge, friendships and relationships within the community made the experience feel completely authentic. It never felt like a tourist excursion that had simply been arranged for us; it felt as though we were being welcomed into the area and given a genuine glimpse of local life. That made it particularly memorable. The food was lovely, and the whole atmosphere at Capaldi is wonderfully relaxed. It is the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy your surroundings and feel looked after without it ever feeling formal or stuffy. Our rooms overlooked the Atlas Mountains and the pool, which was beautiful, and waking up to those views was a real treat. Overall, Capaldi gave us exactly the experience we had hoped for — beautiful surroundings, wonderful hospitality, delicious food and a real sense of place. The warmth of the team made the stay particularly special, and it is definitely somewhere we would happily return to.

The Capaldi is a beautiful hotel , done to an excellent standard . The decor is understated luxury , and the grounds are immaculate. We stayed for two nights on the way back to Marrakesh and so glad we did. The food was amazing with a changed menu nightly , and the staff are second to none . Nothing was too much trouble. The thought that has gone into the decor and grounds make this a beautiful place to stay for a relaxed break . Wish we could have stayed longer

It is a great location to go to for a couple of days. Easy to get to from Marrakesh. Beautiful gardens and swimming pools. Our room was in the old farmhouse, which was small but clean and comfortable. Staff at reception were very helpful.

The breakfast was ok but it would have been great if they could have had a better selection - to include yogurt, granola. We found some of the staff at the bar/restaurant to be rather unfriendly. If you asked for something it was a bit of an effort! Definitely need to work on interfacing with the client!
