We had two families of four in our party, with one family staying in one room in the cottage (2 adults & 2 children)and in the other in the studio (2 adults & 2 children). The property was easy to find and looked lovely. The location was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed. The owner was very friendly, accommodated our late check in and gave clear instructions as to how to enter the property.
I don't like to write negative points but think other travellers should be aware of the following: The pillows were very lumpy. The bathrooms were dusty and dirty. The bathroom in the studio was in need of a deep clean with mould and grime on the tiles. The floor in the studio was dirty. If renting more than one room at the property, please note; guests are not allowed to cross the garden between the studio and the cottage, instead you must walk around the road. The kitchen in the cottage was shared with the upstairs double room, the write up on Booking.com states private kitchen, this is wrong! The sofa beds were not suitable for more than one person.

Good location, nice host and spacious accomodation
Booking form said there would be a hairdryer..there wasn't so had to go out with wet hair
Shower head was very dirty( husband wouldn't use it

Lovely little place at not a bad price.
The room was cosy, clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Nothing too major but there was no mirrors in the bedroom and the one in the bathroom is above the toilet so when getting ready I had to bend at a awkward angle until my husband suggested we take it off the wall to put in the bedroom. My husband was then able to have a shower and get ready at the same time as I was without steaming up the mirror.
So for future it could be a idea to get a mirror that you can place on the windowsill like I did in the bedroom.

Studio itself was lovely, lots of space, a big bathroom and almost everything you would need.
It was not clean; multiple hairs throughout, dust behind lamps and TV etc, doesn’t look like they move items to clean. Bathroom was clearly upgraded but needs finishing off and a deep clean in the shower. Tiles throughout which all need a grout clean as it’s black. Would also be nice to have own space/seats outside, as we bought our dog during a heatwave. Would have been nice if they had tidied up their garden knowing a dog was visiting as it was covered their own dogs poo.
