A really cosy home from home country retreat, ideally located for walks, drives to all parts of the dales, stargazing and relaxing. The house had everything we needed for home cooking, soothing our achy bodies after long walks, and we loved that it had a washing machine and very efficient dryer as we got very muddy!
My tall hubby kept banging his head but that's cottages for you!

Beautiful house with everything you could need. Loved the open fire. Comfortable beds. All the luxuries of home. Amazing location with plenty of walks and open scenery. We paddled, we played games, we had much needed time as a family. Its so quiet and tranquil. Very thoughtful hosts. Really didn't want to leave!

Lovely spacious old house in the northern dales. We'll equiped kitchen and open fire with wood supply.
Good situation to explore the local area.
Bonus housemartins nesting on the edge of a bedroom window (we could see them peeking out of the nest) and jackdaws nesting in the porch!
The owner was very helpful and nothing was a bother for him.
We'd very happily use this house again.
