I really liked how clean and well-maintained the room and lobby were. I also appreciated the welcome drinks, which were a nice touch! The staff at the lobby were friendly and able to communicate in English, which was especially helpful since my husband only speaks English and Mandarin, while I can communicate in both English and Indonesian. It was nice knowing that he could communicate with the lobby staff comfortably without having to rely on me to translate.

I wish the pool and gym facilities were more comfortable and better maintained. The gym looked really old and dusty, and there wasn’t even a proper place to put my bag. I usually bring a small bag to carry my phone, room key card, and gym gloves, so having a designated space for personal belongings would have been helpful. Another thing I noticed was that the gym only provided paper cups for drinking water, which I didn’t find very practical. I wish they would provide bottled water or a better alternative. While the lobby staff could communicate in English, most of the other staff members I encountered couldn’t speak English very well. One thing I found particularly strange was the inconsistency regarding additional room key cards. When I requested a second key card in English, I was told that I needed to pay a deposit because the hotel only provided one key card per room. However, when my parents, who speak Indonesian, requested a second key card, they weren’t asked to pay any deposit at all! I found that pretty funny and a little questionable. It made me wonder why the policy was different depending on who was asking. I think the hotel could definitely improve its facilities, communication, and consistency in how guests are treated.
