The property is a stunning chateau overlooking the countryside and vineyards. Our room was spacious with period furniture but with modern appointments in the bathroom.
Rooms are within the chateau rather than in an adjacent building as in some other similar situations.
Breakfast was great with some individually cooked options.
The chateau is family owned by generations of winemakers and Philippe and Valerie were warm and generous hosts.
The wine tasting was relaxed and unhurried.
We travel a lot and this was one of our best experiences.
Nothing! But the chateau is about 3km outside of Bourg and best suited to travelers with a car.

Bugüne kadar kaldığınız tüm otelleri unutun. Harika bir deneyim yaşadım. Kendimi orta çağda şatoda yaşayan bir asil gibi hissettim. Oda çok temiz ve çok konforluydu. Harika dekore edilmiş. Banyo şarap bağları manzaralıydı. Şatonun sahipleri çok kibar ve çok ilgiliydi.

Amazing location. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful views from our bedroom, pool and most areas generally. The place was quiet and every family member we met was lovely. Really short drive into Bourg and close to Blaye. We also loved the wine tasting area, and views across wildflower meadow.
Only thing that was a bit disappointing was the wine tasting we did on last evening. Wines were excellent and we purchased a few bottles, but the first one was just poured, with no description at all. Had to ask what grapes were and then for each subsequent wine all we learnt was the grape. Maybe needs re-positioning as expectation for wine tasting is that you get some description of the wine making process etc.
