Hotel Zora

Chris was really friendly and helpful. He gave us a map of Paris and showed us how to get to our appointment the morning after arrival. They also kept our cases before check in and after check out. The location is amazing. Walking distance from the Louvre and about 15 metres away from a very busy street, which gives you a real taste of Paris.

There is no fridge in the room and our room was small. We were 2 people travelling for 3 weeks, so we had big suit cases and we could only open one case at a time.

Amazing, central location. The Rue Mergouil is a lively street of cafes, shops and markets, and yet the hotel is quiet. The hosting was super friendly. The room was not fancy, but serviced regularly and the bed was very comfortable.

Great location and friendly staff, but the room did not match what was represented in my booking confirmation.

The room was very disappointing compared with what was shown in my booking confirmation. The confirmation showed a much larger, more spacious room with two windows, while the room we received (room 7) was extremely narrow, with barely enough space to walk between the bed and the furniture. When I raised this, the staff member at night told me that the room shown in my confirmation was room 9 and that we had been allocated room 7. However, the following morning the owner gave me a different explanation, saying that the picture on my confirmation was simply a general illustration of the hotel. This was confusing and did not make sense to me. I understand that a hotel cannot guarantee the exact room shown in a photograph, but when a particular room image appears on the booking confirmation, I think it is reasonable to expect the room provided to be broadly comparable in size and layout. Unfortunately, ours was not.
