The owner of the house was our contact and was completely delightful, great host. We got to share stories and learned how she came from South Africa to be in Scotland. She had great tips for evening meals. The rooms were spacious especially the bathrooms. Our party had three rooms and all were quaint, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included not a continental and and individually ordered cooked meal
Nothing actually it was all great. We were there two nights

Lovely place on Main Street of Tomintoul. Free parking in town parking lot across the street. Great host. Beautiful room. Wonderful breakfast, especially the porridge. So close to the Cairngorms.
Was great. Should’ve stayed longer.

Warm, friendly welcome. Everything handled efficiently. A super room, in fact more of a suite with en-suite than a room, which was a real bonus for two tired bike packers. Perfect breakfast. Someone safe to store bikes.

We were so warmly welcomed by Dianne and my dog Sky went up the stairs behind her... that says it all; We immediately felt at home!!! The room is beautiful and the bathroom is a dream; I get jealous! For breakfast I had Egg Benedict: I've never had it served so well! If we come to this beautiful area again, we will return here!
