We loved everything about the Beach Suite and the Tree House Lodge. The home is truly a work of art. We have never stayed at a place quite this magical and relaxing. Pamela and Edsart were also fantastic hosts. We can’t wait to return one day.

The location; right at the beach and in the jungle with animals around you. The gym 💪! With different classes most days 👍 (circuit, pilates..). The tree house where we stayed; our kids loved it! very nice owners, easy check in/check out

We had the most unique stay here. We booked the Beach House, which is close to the beach but not directly on it. The house is huge and has a wonderfully unusual, almost DIY-style design and feel. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. The hammocks and wild jacuzzi are just as distinctive as everything else. This is a place for people who genuinely enjoy nature, jungle and being immersed in the surroundings. There is plenty of wildlife on the grounds, and we had a very relaxing time simply enjoying the setting. We visited in September and, surprisingly, did not encounter any mosquitoes during our stay. The beach itself is not particularly good for snorkelling. The best option is the reef in Cahuita, which is easy to reach but can only be visited with a guide. The reef is beautiful and well worth doing. Alternatives in Punta Uva and Manzanillo. The owners are lovely, and our children especially enjoyed playing with their dog, Roma. This was easily the most unique place we have ever stayed. If you are looking for a polished, conventional resort, it may not be for you, but if you appreciate nature, character and something completely different, you should definitely try it.
