Das Hotel ist Top. Liegt zentral im Ortskern. Ganz nah zum Bahnhof. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Freundliche Gastgeber. Immer wieder gerne!

We stayed for one night on our way to Effringen. The room was overall clean and had a lot more space than other hotel rooms we’ve stayed in – perfect for our daughter who loves to do some gymnastics in the room. A comfortable stopover with plenty of room to move around.

€190 per night felt too expensive for what was offered. Our room was right next to the road, and even with the windows closed, we could hear cars driving by all night. Since there was no air conditioning, keeping the windows closed in summer wasn’t really practical. Cleanliness could have been better – there were hairs on the floor and in the toilet from the previous guest, and a few empty shampoo bottles left behind in the bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing. Although there were many items to choose from, very little was actually appetizing. There were only two types of bread, the scrambled eggs were more like oily omelet pieces, and the meatballs tasted like something straight out of a plastic pack from Aldi. You’ll even recognize some of the items from the nearby Edeka or Lidl – not exactly what you’d expect from a “very rich breakfast.” Reception closes at 8 PM, so after that, there’s no one around to help if you need anything. The area itself wasn’t great either – when we arrived, every restaurant except for one Italian pizzeria was closed.
