It is located within the historical Noto area (yellow-stone construction). They have modernised the interior as much as possible and the limitations if any in the bathroom are purely due to the old construction. Everything is within a few mins walk downhill -- a great advantage. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The room has everything one would need for a short work visit.

La Signora Annamaria è di una gentilezza e una cordialità superlative. Ottima colazione. Anche con specialità locali. Ottima posizione, a due passi dal centro e con facilità di parcheggio.

The ladies running the hotel were very accommodating and nice - speaking all Italian. Also they offered a nice Italian breakfast which I personally like very much.
The hotel is by a small city road but the amount of traffic noise in the ground floor room is immense. I personally could not really sleep. The hotel is also quite old and run down, but it works as a shelter on budget for one night.
