This charming, old school hotel is in the heart of the old town area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice with rustic details (wood beams and antique furniture). The breakfast was amazing and served until 11am. I also loved the noon check-out time and free luggage storage. Excellent location in the heart of shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Two things that detracted from the positive experience were inadequate sound-proofing with the room next door. The neighboring guests often woke me up getting in at 1am or 2am and talking loudly. The second thing was there is no reception staff in the building as this property is managed by another hotel around the corner, which I assume is some corporate cost-saving measure, but takes away from the warm feeling of the place.

Fantastic location, it was clean and comfortable. Full of charm.Yes it’s old and basic but for what I paid and from a 1 star hotel I could not complain.
It was a little loud at times due to the doors/walls not being your usual hotel standard. I personally didn’t rate the breakfast and wish I hadn’t added it on.

The room was spacious, and I really liked the concept of the hotel. The old building has a lovely vintage charm and gives you the feeling of staying in an old country house, full of character and history.
Unfortunately, the room did not match the pictures on Booking.com. Although I had specifically requested a room with an open feel because I struggle with enclosed spaces, the room I was given had a tiny window that made it feel more like a storage room. The bathroom had ants (he building is old and outdated) but i wasn't comfortable with that. And all furniture is outdated but again it fits with the vintage reality.

The location is great. The building has character. The balcony and rear courtyard are pretty.
It’s not staffed and you check in at a nearby hotel. They actually gave us bad directions to get there, which should have been really simple.
The facilities are a little tired. The AC was on its last legs, noisy and vibrating compared to a normal mini split. The overhead fan was also noisy, with a loud click each turn. And lastly the bed squeaked whenever you moved.
In the bathroom the sink was chipped and there was water damage to the floor.
