Hôtel Emile Le Marais

A beautiful little hotel right in the heart of Le Marais. We were right on the top floor with our balcony overlooking the church. There is a very small lift. Lots of transport options all within walking distance. The receptionist Gwendolyn was gorgeous- super friendly had lots of recommendations and so helpful with any questions we had. The room albeit small was very romantic, clean and accommodated our needs. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in there. Close to cafes restaurants and lots of sights. Would stay again on our next visit.

The breakfast is very basic but plenty of nearby options if you want something more substantial

Property is in a great location to see around Paris, Very lively area

The smell, The smell in our room was horrendous like sewers smell I brought this to the attention of the staff many times and each time they said they would look into it and they didn’t … We just had to deal with it but for that reason I won’t be staying again! Couldn’t even leave balcony door or window open as the balcony is all one so any of the rooms on that floor could easily walk out of their room and into ours. Not secure at all! Plus glass shower in room so when staying in double room you are basically showering in front of someone. Also they took £300 from my bank account 3 days before we arrived as a deposit which we were not told about and it took over two weeks to get that money back after arriving home
