This was our 3rd stay over a few years . The rural location is good and not far from Castelo Branco , Monsanto etc.
Room and beds comfortable.
Owners very nice and helpful and home- baked biscuits and pastries, jams etc excellent.
Only minor things . I thought I had made it clear in emails on booking that we wanted 2 single beds in bedroom not a double bed. In fact room had double bed in bedroom and my friend had to sleep on single bed in kitchen / entrance area. I think the confusion was a problem re different languages so no problem.
Room had a kitchenette with hob to cook simple omelette supper. Very minor but no spatula or similar utensils.

This place could be so great, the hosts are incredibly friendly and kind even with their little bit of English and our non existent Portuguese. The breakfast offered was rustic and exceptional, the apple cake was divine. Home made jams and crusty bread etc was all on offer.
The wifi was unable to reach our room, there is no kettle/ coffee making facility or fridge in the room. What made this so difficult is that there is no restaurant nearby and no decent restaurants that we could find in Ladoeira 4km away and even Idanha A Nova 20km had little to offer!
It would be great if the shower head was attached to the wall, a small improvement but really necessary.
