The spa facilities were wonderful. The outside pools and the gardens were very pretty and well kept. It was very quiet and peaceful. The homemade biscuits and cake were delicious.
No cooked breakfast was available apart from what was offered on the day - eg a crepe or a slice of quiche. You couldn't order anything cooked - eg eggs, which for the price I would have expected. Butter was served in plastic pots - not very eco-friendly.
The bikes which were said to be available didn't work.
There were no decent restaurants within walking or driving distance.
