Rob and Rachel honestly are the best hosts. They cannot do enough for you - Winnie their daughter is also super friendly and on hand. Our villa was clean and had everthing we needed. The pool and a just an amazing - better than a lot of hotels we have visited. We would definitely go back but would recommend hiring a car as you are a little way out from beaches and supermarkets. Chania town is beautiful and costs around 12 each way but has plenty of restaurant/bars

Brilliant stay we all had such a nice time and the hosts went out off there way to help with anything we needed . Will be back again one day highly recommend

Property is set in beautiful gardens which are maintained daily.Rob, Rachel and Winnie are fantastic hosts they make you feel very welcome from when you step into their hidden paradise. Pool is excellent- good amount of sun beds.We are very fit and we could walk to local shop and bus stops, ideal local beach 1.5 miles away, however a car would be required if physically impaired. The property is ‘rustic’ not a recent build and I feel it is difficult for family to maintain, however we were not disappointed. All amenities within in good working order, dishes cups and glasses plentiful we did cook a number of times without any difficulty. It’s rural location results in lot of dog barking at night, ear plugs good option. The family dogs and cats are adorable.Would highly recommend a stay at Crete Retreat when visiting Chania as it is a busy harbour area and it’s a pleasure to escape the hustle and bustle with a 2 euro bus ride back to the countryside.

The pool area at the villa was amazing, the villa itself was very basic. Nice quiet location where you could easily get into Chania town by bus which took 5-10 minutes
