Seafront property, friendly receptionist, clean room and bathroom, with more storage than average hotel room. Overall happy with stay at Carmel.
Only negative was no English breakfast as hotels normally do both continental and English breakfast unless stated which it didn't prior to booking.

Clean and basic facilities needed
Didn’t get the room we booked (king room) and was offered a refund but would have to wait a few days to process it so took another room and offered no adjustment in price but they were polite in explaining by a personal phone call

The room purchased had an good sea view. the breakfast was basic but had everything you need to get going for the day
The flooring was damaged so always had to have shoes on. The shower didn't drain.
