Staff were very friendly and engaging, room was clean and comfortable and pleanty of choice at breakfast. I didn't have an evening meal, but what I saw of other patrons eating the food looked very nice.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Dinner was exceptionally tasty home cooked food, clearly made with quality ingredients. Same for the breakfast. Very cosy bar area - relaxing and non-pretentious, and tables were almost full on a Monday night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Bathroom was small, but extremely clean.

Food, drink and staff were excellent. We were made very welomb.
The stairs to the room were a little difficult however this is an age related issue.

The room was quiet and had its own entrance, which was a plus.
Parking was easy too.
The bathroom had a walk in shower, which was good, but there were unfortunately no grab rails anywhere.
Handy location for transport routes.
The room felt small for a superior room and the bedside lights were very inadequate for reading in bed.
The double bed wasn’t terribly comfortable.
Breakfast was adequate, but far from a traditional English breakfast. Nor was it a continental one.
Plain yogurt not offered - just sweetened ones.
