The residence is a very beautiful, rustic wooden cabin, but with all the facilities of a modern hotel. The owners of the stay and the restaurant next door are incredibly friendly and one of the best hosts you can ask for. The view from the back porch is very beautiful. You can spend the day sitting there with a drink and looking at the birds. There is a mini market nearby that's open during the day, and some bigger supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. The national park entrance is less than a 15 minute drive from the stay, and it is recommended to go early in the morning (around 7am) to beat the crowds.

In a nice and quiet area, next to the restaurant from the owners. Nearby Plitvice, we spent the day there and rewarded ourselves with dinner at the owners restaurant. They were very nice and accommodating to us when we wanted to stay seated a bit longer to finish our board games
