Camera essenziale, ottima posizione.

The air conditioning and wifi actually functioned, quite unusual for southern Italy.
An insanely small room, feeling more like a closet. I could rise from the bed and touch both the opposing walls and the ceiling beams. A single plug for the entire room.
Despite confirming arrival time multiple times in advance and bringing the required cash payment (quite odd these days, no?) no one was at the B&B at the appointed time.
There is no cell phone service in this medieval section of Tivoli so there was an uphill 10 minute walk in the 100F heat to find a signal to waken the host.
I recommend that solo travelers look elsewhere.

"We came for 1 night and immediately decided to reserve for the next. We had the room with rooftop balcony which provided a perfect oasis in the vines. Lovely town and excellent starting point to visit..."
