Berry Head Hotel

Fabulous ! We loved this hotel ,right by the sea, nice walk into Brixham, car left in car park all weekend . The staff are the hardest working , friendly and helpful bunch , we want to mention Lisa and Kay ( or was it Lucy , worked in brasserie ) but all the staff were lovely ! We enjoyed all our meals , pool was really appreciated , grounds and view gorgeous . We really loved our stay and we will be back with more family in tow ! Ps our room was large , new bathroom , everything we needed , don’t really know what people are moaning about ! Maybe rooms are being updated a few at a time ? We loved the whole experience

Coming home!

Breakfast was very nice. And our room was very comfortable. The staff were all very nice .

The male waiter in the breakfast room was a little slow and some of the food went cold very quickly, and the coffee was not hot enough.

I was travelling alone but I think the hotel upgraded me to a small double room, which was good. A very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast very nice and a good choice including gluten free, since I am coeliac. A good choice of a fruit cocktail and grapefruit a breakfast. Evening meal good. Provide a packed lunch which is good if you want to go walking or out and about.

Evening meal good, not necessarily cheap and ice cream expensive at about £8 ,3 scoops . The baked beans in the morning don't seem fresh. The tea bags in the room poor very weak, I bought my own Yorkshire tea in town.

Great location, fantastic breakfast

The room was like a boiling hot broom cupboard with the noise of staff and the kitchens underneath. Very dated.
