Excellent location convenient for our mode of transport (train).
Prices seem to have gone up since Ruby Lucy was taken over by IHG. We have stayed there before, several times.

A great minimalist and slightly quirky design, like all Ruby hotels. The idea of a tea and coffee bar on each floor is great. Also the boiling water tap which is useful for filling my hot water bottle! Comfortable mattress and hygienic solid bedroom floors. The hotel is on a pedestrianised street full of 'local' (i.e. not West End prices) bars, cafes and restaurants. Waterloo Station 300m walk away.

London hotel rooms tend to run smaller than anywhere else, and so I was shocked at how much room there was to walk around within the room. The bed was super comfortable. The glass design for the shower/bathroom was a smart way to make the room feel larger. The lobby/lounge was super comfortable. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
I wish there were a fridge to help keep beverages cool, or at least an ice machine! The vending machine was always out of everything when I went to go to check. That all said, these are relatively small gripes.
