Bright and Cool Powell Apartment with patio and Air Conditioning.
Il s'agit de l'étage d'un duplex dans une maison de plus de 100 ans. Il est à environ 5 pas du terrain avec un patio privé donnant sur la pelouse et la rue à seulement un pâté de maisons et demi du centre-ville. Il dispose de deux chambres avec un lit queen et des lits jumeaux, un salon spacieux avec un nouveau canapé, un bureau et un coin repas pouvant accueillir quatre personnes. Il est climatisé, rénové et dispose d'une grande cour, avec une corde à linge et des meubles de terrasse en plein air sur un paysage partagé avec les invités du sous-sol. La nourriture, les divertissements, le shopping, les sites historiques et les musées sont à quelques pas. Le parc national de Yellowstone est à environ 75 miles de distance, les 50 derniers étant considérés par beaucoup d'entre nous et le président Theodore Roosevelt, les 50 plus beaux miles de toute l'Amérique.

My wife and I had an event in the Powell area so this was very convenient for our needs. Located in the downtown area it is what you would expect with traffic and street noise but since Powell is a small town it wasn't bad. The host was very friendly and kept us informed about any issues that came up. We ate out for all our meals so the kitchen wasn't a big deal for us. However, like most, we enjoy our coffee in the morning and the description said there was a coffee maker so we brought our favorite coffee with us, only to find out it was a Keurig maker and we could not use our coffee. Fortunately, the host provided k-cups so we had something. The description also says that the property has laundry facilities, which is somewhat misleading. It has a dryer, which is pretty useless without a washer. Finally, one of the most important amenities of a property during the summer in a place like Wyoming is air conditioning. Although the apartment does have a window a/c unit, my opinion is that it is undersized and poorly located to cool the entire space, especially the bedrooms. With all that said, depending on your needs and time of year these things may not matter.

Air conditioner did not work. Doors need to be worked on to close easier. It was a nice stay overall.

My stay was pleasant for the most part. The host was very responsive to messages. There furniture was comfortable and the place was clean and nicely decorated. The big drawback was the bathroom. It is very cramped. Getting into the bathtub to take a shower was a bit precarious as the tub has tall sides and you can only get in from the corner. No grab bars. So wouldn’t recommend for anyone who has steadiness issues. The water from the shower went all over the floor because the shower curtain doesn’t go on the inside of the tub without covering up the faucet and any access to shower products. These issues could be remedied with a little remodeling. I would not stay here again due to these issues.
