Blaauwklippen Manor House & Jonkershuis by Newmark

Business travel usually means hotels that move at the same hurried pace as the meetings themselves. Blaauwklippen Manor House was the opposite. Although it sits right in the middle of the busy Stellenbosch and Somerset West area, the moment you arrive you feel the calm and almost surreal peacefulness of a farm. It has the feel of an upmarket Spa, giving you room to breathe and rest after a busy day. The Manor House has a wonderful old-world charm, but what truly sets it apart is the people. The service was superb, and it was clear that the staff genuinely care. For them it is not just a job. They serve with real passion, and you feel welcome and looked after from start to finish. I would highly recommend Blaauwklippen Manor House to anyone, whether visiting for business or leisure, who wants a place of peace and genuine hospitality in the Winelands. The hotel amenities .. mini bar and coffee pods were not good. The hotel coffee machine in the breakfast area was the kind you’d find in a bad airport takeaway - the room was not cleaned properly amenities were not replaced
