Location. Old Hollywood vibes
Went to front desk to ask for ice in our room, told to go back up to our room, get the ice bucket, and bring to them so they could refill. They couldn’t just bring another ice bucket and, if low on buckets, then just grab my empty one when they came to the room with the ice? It was an unnecessary pain when I’m paying over $300 a night.

Everything! The decor - the rooms all had Hollywood stars of the past on the doors, very cool. The staff were friendly and genuine - Kiki was amazing and we got our rooms early! The bar in the deluxe rooms were very well stocked and a joy to look at. The breakfast was fantastic and I loved the welcome glass of sparkling wine. Went to a show at the Hollywood bowl and walked to and from the hotel- it was so easy!

Classy, cute and very comfortable place conveniently located in a classic Hollywood area. The seated outdoor area in the garden is very lovely too, with its waterfall and fire features.

One particular staff person, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond for a real boutique hotel experience.
At no time was it ever explained that you would have to pay a daily $45 valet rate to park in their parking lot, when I specifically asked if the hotel had parking. This is not unusual but should be stated when asked by a guest. That being said the valet was exceptionally nice and helpful.
