d feel like the price was a bit high for what we got, based off other things we have done in Sri Lanka When we left we organised a car to take us to the Train station, again organised through the hotel, this was very helpful, and the driver was brilliant, he stayed with us at the train station and helped make sure we had the correct tickets and got onto the correct carriage Overall this is a brilliant hotel with spectacular views, but there is just a few things that weren't perfect, and for the price we paid I would have expected those small things to be corrected But we would definitely recommend this hotel

It wasn't great value for money, the excursions do seem a bit overpriced, not that they are bad, because they are very good, but they just seem expensive for the activity, the lack of a mosquito net / was plug in was frustrating being in a jungle, and this seems like an extremely easy fix, but there is alot of bugs that can come into the room and onto the bed otherwise, the waiting staff are a bit overbearing at time

It is an amazing property, the views and surroundings are breathtaking. Staff were lovely with a keen eye for detail. The room was exceptional. Food was really good and service was as expected.

It is a bit off the beaten track but well worth 2/3 nights stay.

1. The room was dirty. The floor was covered in black and brown dust, leaving a sticky, filthy residue on my feet when walking. While I understand that locations on a mountain can be dusty, the floors should not be sticky. Furthermore, none of the staff members removed their shoes when entering the room. In the bathroom, they placed the hair conditioner at the hand washing sink instead of inside the shower area. It was very confusing and inconvenient 2. The staff service needs improvement. The young lady at reception was quite moody and emotionally unstable. During dinner, a staff member asked if we were finished after we had only been eating for 20 minutes. We had just paused for a moment to check our phones, and our cutlery was not crossed or placed in a way that indicated we were done. It felt rushed and unprofessional. 3. The food is not tasty.
