The peacefulness is awesome. This was our second stay and we totally enjoyed our stay.

Saddleback Mountain is the best!! It’s about a 15 min drive to the lodge maybe even less. The cabin is just that, it was you would expect but there was plenty of space for us 2 adults and 4 kids ages 10-17. My only suggestion to future guest id if you like to cook bring some quality pans.

Perfect setting. Quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. Cottage comfortably fit 5 adults.

We recently stayed at this property, I don’t think I would return to hunter cove again. We stayed here years ago when it was maintained much better, our shower had a six inch slice in the floor, that someone could have sliced there foot on, the toilet leaked from the bottom, the property manager did offer to deal with the issue but being a plumber myself I know that the shower was a big deal and we would have to move somewhere else, and we had already unpacked after driving six hours. The boat house definitely needs some work, along with the docks too! Our family made the best of the cabin and did enjoy our stay but would not stay here again.
